Balanced Power, Absolute Control
The Maxima Prisma Orquidea is a high-performance padel racket designed for advanced players seeking a perfect balance of power, control, and comfort. Its hybrid shape, exclusive to Varlion, combines the best of round and teardrop-shaped blades, allowing for versatile play in both defense and attack, with great ball exit and precision in every shot.
Made with a bidirectional tubular carbon frame and a low-hardness 38mm SOFTCOLOR Core EVA coating, this racket incorporates 7RHOMBUS carbon fiber, fiberglass, and titanium dioxide for greater durability and improved aesthetics.
Summum: More Reach, More Comfort
Summum technology stands out for several key aspects:
-Extended 14.5 cm handle, ideal for two-handed backhands and offering a more comfortable grip.
-Enlarged striking surface, which helps to extend the sweet spot.
-ErgoHoles progressive drilling pattern (patented), with holes that improve aerodynamics and enlarge the sweet spot.
-ErgoSlice rough texture, with raised lines that improve ball grip and increase spin.
Advanced Aerodynamics and Total Protection
The Prisma Frame, with its prismatic shape, reduces air resistance by 10% and significantly improves the racket's maneuverability. Additionally, the Wings Diffuser system located in the heart of the racket optimizes airflow, providing stability and precision in every shot.
In terms of protection, this racket incorporates the Adhesive Bumper, an injected TPU protector that perfectly adapts to the frame, protecting it against impacts without compromising the aerodynamic design.
Safety, Aesthetics, and Functionality
To ensure maximum safety during play, the HandleSafety system secures the cord by passing it through both walls of the handle, preventing it from coming loose and offering greater wrist comfort.
And finally, SOFTCOLOR technology adds an elegant and vibrant touch by integrating the rubber's color into the racket's overall design, for a modern and refined style.
Maxima Prisma Carbon Soft or Orquidea?
Both rackets share a hybrid shape and a soft, low-hardness Softcolor EVA core, but they are designed for different playing styles, mainly due to two key factors: the type of carbon fiber and the weight range.
The Maxima Prisma Carbon Soft is constructed with Carrera 20 carbon fiber, a denser and more reactive fabric that offers a firmer feel and a more powerful response to the ball. Additionally, its weight range is slightly higher, between 345 and 360 grams, which gives it greater inertia and power, ideal for players who seek a stronger and more aggressive swing.
In contrast, the Maxima Summum Prisma Orchid uses a 7Rhombus carbon fiber fabric, which is softer and more elastic, offering a smoother and more comfortable feel. It is also lighter, with a weight between 335 and 350 grams, designed for players who prioritize maneuverability, comfort, and a more controlled game.
Prisma Frame (Patented) + AB System (Patented)
The Prisma frame, patented by Varlion, features a geometric shape that improves aerodynamics, reduces air resistance by 10%, and minimizes contact with surfaces.
This design is protected by the AB system, an injected and adhesive protector (also patented), which perfectly adapts to the frame's shape without the need for drilling.
Wings Diffuser (Patented)
Technology developed with the aim of directing the airflow in the only "treatable" area of the blade through which air passes, its heart. The advantages of this technology are:
-An increase in player speed in fast shots such as the smash.
-Greater shot consistency by making the trajectory more constant, thanks to the zero influence of turbulence that conventional rackets normally have in the heart area.
-A greater number of shots with more control, also thanks to the reduction of turbulence.
Its design is inspired by the diffuser first used by the Brawn GP Formula 1 team at the rear of the car.
Summum (Trademark)
Includes a 14.5 cm grip, a wider hitting zone, and the integration of the Wings diffuser. This set, registered by Varlion as Summum, improves comfort, control, and efficiency at every point.
ErgoSlice (Proprietary Technology)
The rough texture of ErgoSlice improves ball grip during slices thanks to raised lines that follow the contour of the racket.
Ergoholes
Ergoholes progressive holes reduce air resistance and allow for a cleaner and more consistent strike, expanding the sweet spot and improving swing efficiency.
Handlesafety (Patented)
The Handlesafety system allows the cord to pass through both sides of the grip, ensuring a safer and more comfortable hold. It prevents breakage and adds reliability to the grip.
