The legend is back.
Introducing the LW Carbon 3 Summum, a re-release of Varlion's best-selling racket of all time, renowned for its exceptional quality, performance, and durability. This new version retains these same qualities, enhanced with Varlion's latest technologies to create an outstanding product.
An iconic racket, now more technological
Designed for players seeking total control on every point, the LW Carbon 3 Summum maintains its traditional round shape with a low balance, resulting in improved maneuverability, a wide sweet spot, and an exquisite feel with every shot.
Its construction features a bidirectional carbon tubular frame and a medium-hard EVA SOFTCOLOR core, laminated with layers of 7 Rhombus carbon fiber (18K) and fiberglass, reinforced with carbon fiber for greater strength. All materials are impregnated with Varlion's exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin, ensuring exceptional elasticity and durability.
Summum: more reach, more comfort
Summum technology stands out in several key aspects:
-Extended 14.5 cm handle, ideal for two-handed backhands and offering a more comfortable grip.
-Enlarged hitting surface, which helps extend the sweet spot.
-ErgoHoles progressive drilling pattern (patented), with holes that improve aerodynamics and enlarge the sweet spot.
-ErgoSlice rough texture, with raised lines that improve ball grip and increase spin.
Advanced aerodynamics and total protection
The Prisma Frame, with its prismatic shape, reduces air resistance by 10% and significantly improves the racket's maneuverability. Additionally, the Wings Diffuser system located at the heart of the racket optimizes airflow, providing stability and precision with every shot.
For protection, this racket integrates the Adhesive Bumper, a TPU injected protector that perfectly adapts to the frame, shielding it from impacts without compromising the aerodynamic design.
Safety, aesthetics, and functionality
To ensure maximum safety during play, the HandleSafety system secures the cord by passing it through both walls of the handle, preventing it from detaching and offering better wrist comfort.
And finally, SOFTCOLOR technology adds an elegant and vibrant touch by integrating the color of the rubber into the overall design of the racket, for a modern and refined style.
Prisma Frame (patented) + AB System (patented)
The Prisma frame, patented by Varlion, features a geometric shape that improves aerodynamics, reduces air resistance by 10%, and minimizes contact with surfaces.
This design is protected by the AB system, an injected and adhesive protector (also patented), which perfectly adapts to the frame's shape without the need for drilling.
Wings Diffuser (Patented)
Technology developed with the aim of directing the airflow in the only "treatable" area of the blade through which air passes, its core. The advantages of this technology are:
-An increase in player speed in fast shots such as the smash.
-Greater shot consistency by making the trajectory more constant, thanks to the zero influence of turbulence that conventional rackets normally have in the core area.
-A greater number of shots with more control, also due to the reduction of turbulence.
Its design is inspired by the diffuser first used by the Brawn GP Formula 1 team at the rear of the car.
Summum (Trademark)
Includes a 14.5 cm grip, a wider hitting zone, and the integration of the Wings diffuser. This combination, trademarked by Varlion as Summum, improves comfort, control, and efficiency at every point.
ErgoSlice (Proprietary Technology)
The rough texture of ErgoSlice improves ball grip during slices thanks to raised lines that follow the contour of the racket.
Ergoholes
Progressive Ergoholes reduce air resistance and allow for a cleaner, more consistent hit, widening the hitting area and improving swing efficiency.
Handlesafety (patented)
The Handlesafety system allows the string to pass through both sides of the grip, ensuring a safer and more comfortable hold. It prevents breakage and adds reliability to the grip.
